The University of Portsmouth was leading the production of reports for the Accelerating Women’s Enterprise (AWE) – a collaborative project funded by the European Union’s Interreg Programme to support women’s entrepreneurship in the UK and France.
The project researches and delivers support to address the gender entrepreneurship imbalance through training and mentoring, Between 2019 and 2020, the number of new businesses launched in Portsmouth grew by 33%, making us the UK’s most entrepreneurial city 2020 (Instant Offices). AWE wants to make sure women are an integral part of the city’s entrepreneurial growth in the future.

AWE has completed some amazing research about the factors that women from underprivileged groups face when becoming entrepreneurs.
The team wanted us to help them design six reports three in French and three in English.
